Use social media to comfort patients. When you're back up and running, show patients a happy and active practice with fun pictures and posts about practice events, contests, and giveaways. You could add a little sparkle to their lives while sending a message that your practice is back in action and ready to be of help and service.
Don't make jokes. People are posting fast and furious on social media now -- but not to everyone's pleasure. Certain celebrities and businesses have unintentionally made blunders in the name of trying to appear witty and lighthearted. Remember, this is no time to be overly funny, silly, or Pollyanna.
