Offer a bonus. We recommend offering a defined performance bonus, tied to the first six months after reopening. That time frame is good because it will motivate your team members during the pent-up demand phase as well as help them stay focused past that. Keep in mind that you must be very clear and honest with them that the bonus will only be paid if they hit a specific revenue number you set and communicate to them. Track it every day, keep people focused, and motivate your entire team to go above and beyond.
