MMG Fusion has launched Unified Communications, a new software system designed to automate, simplify, and expedite dental practice interactions.

The communication tool includes phone, text, and chat capabilities. It was designed specifically for dentists and can serve as a communication hub for both internal and external communications.

The Unified Communications phone system uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology to replace hardware phone lines. The online voice system features include phone routing, customizable answering options, call transferring, and integration with other MMG Fusion tools.

The system also includes a web chat feature that automatically copies important patient data from the chat into a patient's record. Using a Patient Pop feature, a patient's record will also automatically pop up during phone calls, chats, and texts with that person.

Unified Communications is part of the MMG Manage suite of services, a new product line from MMG Fusion. It can also integrate with the company's artificial intelligence (AI) Task Manager tool to automatically assign daily and weekly tasks for team members.
