Registration opens for 2021 OSAP Dental Infection Control Boot Camp

The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has opened registration for the 2021 OSAP Dental Infection Control Boot Camp.

The annual boot camp will take place virtually on January 25-28, 2021. It will cover the basics of dental infection prevention and control, including employee and patient safety.

The event will also feature information relevant to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as interim guidance and related regulations. New topics featured at the 2021 boot camp will include sessions on transmission-based precautions, personal protective equipment (PPE) optimization, and creating respiratory protection programs.

The organization created the boot camp for a number of dental staff and public health specialists, including infection control coordinators, dental practice managers, and educators. Registration is available on the OSAP website, with early bird pricing available through December 1.
