The small, ergonomically designed silicone handle creates a better grip and easy manipulation for children developing fine motor skills, Burst said. The company designed the brush head and soft, tapered bristles to fit in developing mouths and dislodge food and debris.
The toothbrush has two cleaning modes, and it also encourages adequate tooth brushing with a built-in two-minute timer that pauses every 30 seconds to indicate when to move to the next mouth quadrant.
Burstkids is suited for kids ages 2 years to preteen who have primary or mixed teeth, the firm said. The toothbrush comes in an Advent calendar-style box, and the brushes are available in blue, purple, and pink.
