An alumnus of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry has donated $10 million, the largest gift in the school's history, to his alma mater.

The alumnus, who chose to remain anonymous, will create an endowment for faculty recruitment, retention, and curriculum development. The donation will provide an income source to support the long-term vision of current and future deans, according to the dental school.
