DentalEZ launched its Aeras Intelligent Platform, which includes two new tools that can communicate with clinicians, at this week's 2020 Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
Its Aeras Intelligent Platform includes the Aeras 500 Elite handpiece by Star and the Aeras compressor by Ramvac, collects data, shares information, and streamlines standard-of-care processes. The platform aims to create an environment of optimal patient care and improve practice efficiency.

DentalEz partnered with LM Dental on the RFID technology. The handpiece can automatically track handpiece usage, monitor sterilization, and view location at any time when it is used with a compatible reader.
The compressor features cloud-based technology that offers active monitoring with data streaming from embedded sensors, ensuring automatic detection of potential problems. Diagnostic information is given to the right person at the right time, cutting down on unnecessary downtime. All data can be accessed on any device. Smart-enabled compressors that have monitoring service subscriptions are protected with eight-year extended warranties.
