Delta Dental of California has announced increased reimbursement to help dental providers cover the cost of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The uptick in reimbursement began on June 22 and will be added to evaluation and consultation procedure codes. The additional aid is designed to offset increased, pandemic-related costs for providers of Delta Dental of California and its affiliates.
The new assistance adds to other provider relief efforts by Delta Dental, including instituting a $200 million loan program and delaying fee reductions.
