Dentsply Sirona has introduced its Axeos 3D/2D imaging system and unveiled new enhancements for its Schick AE line of intraoral sensors.
Offering the largest field-of-view of any Dentsply Sirona 3D/2D system, Axeos 3D/2D utilizes "intelligent" low-dose exposure to capture high-quality images, according to the vendor. It also features smart height adjustment and fast scan times, Dentsply Sirona said.
The system is powered by the company's Sidexis 4 imaging software and can integrate with more than 250 practice management software systems and multiple treatment planning software options such as SICAT's Implant, Endo, Function, and Air applications, Dentsply Sirona said.
Dentsply Sirona has also added new features to its Schick AE line of intraoral sensors, including the capability to highlight relevant anatomical structures. Other upgrades include improved sensor sensitivity and an enhanced low-dose optimized exposure spectrum, according to the firm.
