Why you need to know about this acronym -- and why your patients will thank you for it

For roughly a quarter of a century, there has been a way for dentists to deliver dental anesthetics efficiently and painlessly to patients. It's been a game-changer in my practice, yet I'm learning through study groups and online discussions that not enough dentists are using it -- or even know about it or how to use it properly.

First introduced to the dental industry just before the start of the 21st century, computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery (CCLAD) is something I believe in so strongly because I've seen how it benefits my patients. Personally, I think one of the worst things that can happen in word-of-mouth marketing is for patients to tell their friends that they had a painful dental procedure. It reinforces why so many people don't want to walk through our doors, so why aren't we doing everything we can to ensure the stereotype isn't discussed around the family dinner table or on social media?

In the video below, I explain why I believe so strongly in CCLAD and why I think it can make such a difference during and after procedures. If you have questions or want to ask me more about CCLAD, feel free to drop me a line at [email protected].
