The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation announced that it will donate an additional $300,000 to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help communities affected by COVID-19.
The funds will allow the food bank to provide enough food for an additional 1.2 million meals, or more than 900,000 people. Delta Dental said fighting food insecurity is not only the right thing to do but also helps with oral health, as dental caries are linked to food insecurity.
