Dental service organization (DSO) Heartland Dental has acquired Tru Family Dental's nearly two dozen dental offices in Michigan and Illinois.
Heartland closed the all-cash transaction of Tru Family, a DSO that was founded in 2014 in Southfield, MI, on December 21. Under the deal, Heartland took over Tru Family's 10 offices in Illinois and 13 in Michigan, adding to its already large network that includes more than 1,100 offices in 38 states.
