Partners Philips and Toothpic were named as health and wellness innovation honorees in the CES Innovation Awards for their photo-based teledentistry platform.
The companies received the award for outstanding design and engineering in the consumer market for their dental app, which provides patients with instant access to dental advice from certified dentists, Toothpic said.
The app also provides dental professionals with a way to obtain new patients and engage and retain existing ones. It supports fast, comprehensive assessments and treatment options for patients on a HIPAA-compliant platform, according to the companies.
