Vista Apex has acquired Palisades Dental, maker of the surgical handpiece Impact Air 45, a high-speed device for the efficient removal of teeth.
Palisades has been manufacturing the Impact Air 45 by hand in the U.S. for more than 25 years. The handpiece features a 45-degree angled head, which allows maximum access and visibility, Vista said.
Vista Apex was founded in 1997. The company will add the device to its more than 500 cataloged items. The company is best known for its endodontic irrigating solutions and restorative dental materials.
