Dental Practice Made Simple is a video series from DrBicuspid.com and Levin Group. Tune in every Wednesday for a quick tip from Dr. Roger P. Levin to learn how to build high-powered, proven systems that lead to practice success.

Is having a morning business meeting a waste of time? No, said Levin in the latest episode of Dental Practice Made Simple. In fact, having a morning meeting can save a practice time in the long run.

"I am a huge proponent of the daily business meeting because meetings help you to organize, save time, communicate well, be more efficient, and a number of other benefits," he said.

To hold a great morning meeting, Levin recommended taking the following steps:

  1. Start the day on a positive note. Ask each person to share something positive.
  2. Bring people together.
  3. Organize the day, including reviewing the schedule for doctors and hygienists.
  4. Allow everyone to ask questions, which can reduce stress.
  5. Look at the daily production goal. Ask what the team can do to hit that target.

"These are some simple ways and some wonderful ways to create a powerful daily business meeting -- and that meeting is going to save you time and enhance efficiency," Levin said.
