Insurance company United Concordia Dental has named Dr. Roosevelt Allen as its new chief dental officer.
Dr. Roosevelt Allen. Image courtesy of United Concordia Dental.Allen has served as United Concordia's vice president and dental director of government business since 2018. Before joining the firm, Allen retired from a 30-year career in the U.S. Air Force with the rank of major general.
In that role, he managed healthcare policy for 44,000 military members at 75 treatment facilities across the U.S., Europe, and Asia and offered policy and operational support to more than 3,500 dental professionals.
Allen replaces Dr. Quinn Dufurrena, JD, who retired on July 15.
