Georgia officials are investigating the case of a 14-year-old boy who died after having his third molars removed.
Ben Ellis of Ellijay underwent surgery December 7 and was found dead the next morning, according to a KTVQ.com story.
The youth's family told police that he seemed fine after the surgery. The teen had taken one penicillin and one oxycodone pill, according to his parents.
Officials are doing an autopsy and toxicology tests, and the boy once had a seizure and his family has a history of seizures, according to the coroner.
