Sterilizing a dental handpieces seems like a no-brainer.  Studies have shown sterilization of handpieces may not be as easy as one would think.  A seemingly sterilized handpiece could pass contaminant from one patient to the next if you are not sterilizing motors attached to air and water lines.  Are your patients at risk?
