Cosmetic dentistry

SDI launches whitening system

SDI is launching its new Pola Luminate whitening system at the meeting.

Pola Luminate is a brush-on teeth-whitening solution that contains 6% hydrogen peroxide. The mint-flavored solution also releases fluoride to aid in tooth surface remineralization and reduce sensitivity. The low-viscosity solution dries quickly, which allows patients to whiten a single tooth or their entire mouth.

After an initial in-office consultation to explain the technique, patients purchase a kit and whiten their teeth at home. The solution requires no trays or chair time.
