Which celebrities have the most attractive smiles? An aesthetic dental clinic in Europe identified 10 celebrities with the most attractive smiles. To come up with the list, the clinic based its ranking on the most searched smiles on Google.
Tom Cruise. Image courtesy of Gage Skidmore.Tom Cruise generated 84,800 Google searches per month worldwide, giving him the title of the most attractive celebrity smile, according to the analysis conducted by Vera Clinic Hollywood Smile. The clinic used data that was collected on October 25.
"Tom's teeth haven't always been perfect, but he managed to fix them when he was 40 years old when he got ceramic braces to address overbite and misalignment problems," said Dr. Selin Kılıç, a dentist at Vera Clinic Hollywood Smile, in a press release. "Whilst many fans have also noticed that Tom's right front tooth is off-center, and this has been widely referred to as his 'middle tooth,' it clearly hasn't put people off crowning his smiling the most attractive."
Taylor Swift came in second place in Vera Clinic's analysis with 7,400 monthly searches globally.
"It has been reported that the singer has had braces and veneers to complete her perfect smile," Kılıç said. "Famously, during a performance at her 2013 Red world tour, Taylor chipped her tooth on the microphone, which has now been fixed to maintain her perfect smile."
Julia Roberts has the third most attractive and popular smile, according to Google queries that reach an average of 7,270 per month worldwide. Roberts is an iconic actress known for her captivating smile, which is famous for its symmetry.
"There are claims that the star has had veneers to perfect and to fix the minor flaws in her smile by evening out her teeth and giving her teeth a smoother edge," Kılıç commented.
Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson is in fourth place with an average of 6,100 monthly searches.
"Scarlett's teeth are perfectly proportioned but still maintain that natural look," Kılıç said. "From comparing to younger images, the star may have had whitening treatments and porcelain veneers to complete her smile, earning her the title of one of the most desired smiles."
Following Johannson, Selena Gomez placed fifth with 5,800 monthly Google searches. Megan Fox and Miley Cyrus are tied for sixth place with an average search popularity of 4,200 searches per month.
Anne Hathaway is in eighth place, averaging 3,770 monthly searches. Kate Middleton takes ninth place, averaging 3,200 searches. Lastly, Kim Kardashian is ranked number 10 with 3,100 average monthly searches.
