Do’s and don’ts for community marketing

Your dental practice is an integral part of the community. What are you doing to get more involved? Do you belong to any local organizations; coach youth sports teams; or volunteer for service clubs, schools, charities, etc.?

Practice Success Do

Get involved and get known. There are many opportunities to support your local community, including sponsoring youth teams and school bands, volunteering at the food bank, and providing oral health education to schools. When you actively participate in your community, you strengthen your patients’ relationship to your practice and make new connections with potential patients.

Don’t forget to mix it up. Sponsoring a Little League team is a good thing, but if you do that every year, you should consider supporting other activities as well. Keep in mind that supporting your community doesn’t always have to involve spending money. Volunteering your time sends a positive message as well.
