ADA 2015: House of Delegates approves 2016 budget

The ADA's 2016 budget did not raise member dues, but shows a net deficit of $1.2 million, which will be covered by a surplus from 2015, according to an ADA News story.

During the ADA 2015 annual meeting in Washington, DC, the ADA's House of Delegates approved the organization's budget for 2016. It includes $131.8 million in revenues and $126.4 million in expenses and income taxes, according to the story. After the transfer of royalty revenue to the insurance royalty reserve, the budget has a net deficit of $1.2 million.

"The previous year's surplus will fund that deficit without negatively affecting our financial outlook," said ADA Treasurer Ronald Lemmo, DDS.

Members' dues remained at $522.
