The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) has named a new executive director.
Scott Farrell will succeed Robert Rinaldi, PhD, who is retiring after more than 18 years as executive director, according to the association. Farrell is currently chief financial officer and associate executive director of AAOMS.
"Mr. Farrell brings a wealth of experience gleaned from almost 40 years in healthcare association management," AAOMS President Louis Rafetto, DMD, said in a release. "His in-depth knowledge of the AAOMS ... and the surgeon's unique role and contributions to dentistry and patient care will enable him to admirably serve AAOMS and our fellows and members."
