Mesa acquires distribution rights for sterilizer tests

Mesa Laboratories has acquired the distribution rights for its biological indicator tests from Hansamed, a Canadian pharmaceutical and medical device distributor.

Mesa develops and markets process validation and monitoring devices, including various biological indicator tests, which enable dental offices to test their sterilizers daily.

Hansamed previously distributed Mesa's biological indicator products and services to the Canadian dental market. Mesa said it expects the acquisition to add about $200,000 to its revenue.
