Cloud-based dental software provider Planet DDS has received the System and Organization Controls 2 type 2 data security certification.
The certification, which extends over a period of months, verifies that Planet DDS maintains high levels of control for data security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy.
Planet DDS stated that it meets the standards for the certification across all of its products, including Denticon practice management, Cloud 9 orthodontic practice management, Apteryx imaging, and Legwork solutions.
