The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation said it has donated a total of $1.5 million to food banks in California.
The money will provide funding to grants that reach every county in the state, according to Delta Dental.
The food banks include the following:
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank ($220,000)
- San Diego Food Bank ($250,000)
- Marin Food Bank in San Francisco ($200,000)
- Second Harvest of Silicon Valley in San Jose ($100,000)
- Alameda County Community Food Bank in Oakland ($100,000)
- Sacramento Regional Food Bank & Family Services ($100,000)
- Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano in Fairfield ($75,000)
- Central California Food Bank in Fresno ($55,000)
- Project Open Hand in San Francisco ($50,000)
