Kentucky dental school begins $43 million remodel

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry has broken ground on a $43 million renovation project to expand and renovate its 40-year-old facility, according to a story on WFPL News.

The university is renovating its original 200,000-square-foot facility and constructing a 24,000-square-foot addition, according to news reports.

The school moved into its current home downtown in 1970, and few upgrades to infrastructure have been done since, WFPL reported. The project is expected to take two years to complete.
