Paul A. Rosenberg, DDS, professor and chairman of the endodontics department at the NYU College of Dentistry has announced that he will be stepping down from the chairmanship once a successor is chosen.
Dr. Rosenberg, who has held his position since 1990 will continue to be involved in teaching and scholarly activities as a full- time faculty member.
Under his leadership, the program introduced implants into an endodontic advanced education curriculum and sent endodontic residents in outreach programs to underserved areas.
Dr. Rosenberg has also served as the dental school's associate dean for graduate programs, director of the American Board of Endodontics, and a scientific reviewer for the Journal of Endodontics.
