Former ‘The Voice’ contestant heads to dental school

Jerome Godwin III, a top 20 finalist on the singing competition series “The Voice” and a former Royal Caribbean vocalist, is beginning a career in dentistry.

The 23-year-old from Alabama is now pursuing a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University College of Dentistry, one of the oldest dental schools in the U.S.
