Marquette University in Wisconsin has announced a $2 million gift from alumnus Dr. Michael J. Miskella and Rosaleen Miskella to support the school of dentistry.
Miskella, a 1969 graduate, said he was motivated to help maintain the school’s status. The donation will establish the school’s first endowed directorship and reflect increasing donor support for faculty and staff positions.
The school, Wisconsin’s only dental school, serves patients from 66 of 72 counties and provides about 110,000 visits annually.
