SmartMouth is highlighting the activated zinc technology in its new suite of oral care rinses.
The firm said that its patented two-solution system contains activated zinc ions. When the two SmartMouth solutions are combined, billions of activated zinc ions are released. These ions then bind to the bacteria in the mouth and inhibit the bacteria's ability to produce sulfur gas for 12 hours with every rinse, according to the company.
