Municipalities in Ky. may be able to end water fluoridation

Water Drink

A committee of lawmakers in Kentucky on February 8 advanced a bill that, if it continues to move through the legislative process, would stop requiring municipalities and water districts to add or adjust fluoride in public water systems.

If HB 141 passes both state legislative bodies and is signed into the law, it would not stop water fluoridation in any community, but it would give local municipalities the option to continue it or not.
