One of the world's largest dental laboratories is moving into the U.S., following a merger that will operate under the name Modern Dental Laboratory USA, CEO Patrick Tessier announced.
Tessier, former CEO of Northwest Laboratories, a regional distributor for Modern Dental Laboratory of Shenzhen, China, merged his company with two other importers of the international laboratory's products -- Koga Enterprises of Los Angeles and Modern Dental Laboratory Chicago -- to create the new operation.
Bellevue, WA, will be headquarters to Modern Dental Laboratory USA and the Seattle service center, while Los Angeles and Chicago will serve as regional service centers.
"In just six years, Northwest Laboratories became the largest dental laboratory in the Northwest; we quickly amassed a large clientele by understanding that our dental partners depend on a world-class product every time backed by reliable, exceptional service," Tessier said in a press release. "Now we're taking the business model nationwide; from consulting dentists and certified dental technicians, to client concierges, all are experts in their respective fields."
