3M has introduced a new ergonomic syringe design for its flowable restoratives.

Image courtesy of 3M.The updated syringe design centers on increasing the ease of injecting flowable composites into the mouth, between the tooth and the dental restoration. It contains a tip that releases virtually no bubbles or excess material during the dispensing process, 3M said. In addition, the syringe has a flexible cannula that clinicians can bend by hand, a triangular finger plate, and an expanded plunger for an enhanced, personalized grip.
3M's new syringe is intended for use with its Filtek Supreme and Filtek Fill flowable composite materials for dental restorations.
