November 16, 2016 -- The number of cigarettes sold to U.S. wholesalers and retailers by the largest cigarette companies declined almost 3 billion in 2014 compared with 2013, according to a new report by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).  Discuss

CDC: Fewer U.S. adults smoke now than in 2005
November 15, 2016 -- Does your patient population include adults ages 25 to 44 who didn't graduate from high school or earned a GED certificate? If so, these are your patients who are most likely to smoke cigarettes, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). U.S. elections: 4 soda taxes pass; 3 tobacco taxes fail
November 9, 2016 -- Election night in the U.S. saw four cities pass new taxes on soda and sugary beverages, while there were mixed results on tobacco tax measures.
