Oral Health America (OHA) was recently recognized by the West Virginia University (WVU) Foundation and New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry for its donations for the Smiles Across America programs established through each university.
The Woodburn Circle Society at the WVU Foundation recognized OHA for donating $115,000 since 2006 to the Smiles Across America West Virginia program, which now includes 28 partners throughout the state, according to the OHA.
The NYU College of Dentistry recognized OHA for awarding grants of more than $100,000 since 2006 to the college's pediatric dentistry department, which oversees the Smiles Across America program in New York City schools.
