The New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry has introduced a Bachelor of Science (BS) in dental hygiene with a new focus in dental science.
The degree follows a curriculum that includes science, math, and liberal arts courses that are prerequisites for applying to dental school, medical school, and other health degree programs. Also, the degree prepares students to practice as dental hygienists after graduation.
