USC dental school names new dean

Dr. Yang Chai, PhD.Dr. Yang Chai, PhD.USCThe University of Southern California (USC) Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry has named Associate Dean of Research Dr. Yang Chai, PhD, as its dean.

Previously interim dean, Chai is a clinician-scientist and USC university professor. He leads the school’s Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology and is known for his research on craniofacial development, including cleft palate repair and bone regeneration.
