The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) has launched its 2026 National Dental Hygiene Month campaign, "The Power of Us," with weekly resources built around four themes: prevention, career, voice, and patients.
The campaign includes three CE webinars. "Making Oral Care Count," a free one-credit session on Wednesday, October 7, covers biofilm control and oral-systemic health. A free 1.5-credit webinar on Wednesday, October 14, examines the periodontal-systemic link, and a Wednesday, October 28, session on drug interactions is free for ADHA members and $45 for nonmembers.
The ADHA is also asking hygienists to wear purple on October 9 and share photos with #PostYourPurple. Other activities include free access to the October issue of the Journal of Dental Hygiene and a social media brush relay that raises funds for the ADHA Foundation.
