Fishburne May announced the availability of FishburneTabs OH, a new rapid saliva volume testing tool.
FishburneTabsOH uses unique papers that are placed in the mouth and absorb saliva. After three minutes, the results indicate the total amount of saliva available in the mouth. The new testing method offers clinicians a convenient, mess-free way of screening for xerostomia or monitoring ongoing changes in saliva production.
FishburneTabsOH is available through Cardinal Health. Reimbursements may be available through Medicare and some insurers, Fishburne May noted.
