ADA seeks feedback on salivary tests for oral cancer

The ADA is accepting public comments through May 1 on draft recommendations for using salivary tests to determine the need for biopsy in oral cancer detection.

The draft guidance is the fourth installment in the ADA Living Guideline Program's series of evidence-informed recommendations, developed in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. A virtual listening session is scheduled for April 28 for stakeholders wishing to provide feedback directly.

Dental professionals can submit comments through the ADA's website.
