More studies point to harmful effects of BPA

Evidence continues to mount about the harmful effects of bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical used in some dental sealants and a number of consumer products. Research presented last week at the Endocrine Society's annual meeting demonstrated a link between BPA exposure and prostate cancer, BPA and testicular hormone defects, and BPA and inflammation of fat tissue, which can lead to obesity.
