A California dentist has been arrested after someone discovered a hidden camera in his office’s restroom, according to an article by the Bay City News and republished by NBC Bay Area.

Zaid Sharma was taken into custody after an investigation that began in late July, where it was reported that a hidden camera was found in the restroom at Sharma’s dental practice on West Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale. Investigators said “several” victims were filmed while they used the restroom.

According to the article, public safety officers served search warrants at the dental office and Sharma’s home and found digital media with more footage of victims taken on the hidden camera, including those of juveniles.

Police arrested and booked Sharma at the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of peeping and possession of child pornography, according to the article. The Dental Board of California was notified of the case.
