Yorlady Bedoya-Rendon, 46, of Kissimmee, FL, was arrested again on February 3 for practicing dentistry without a license. In October 2025, she and her brother Carlos Rendon were criminally charged with allegedly running a dental practice, 4D Design Your Smile, for years out of an office building in Orlando, FL. The past allegations led to this second arrest.
Following their first arrest, other past clients came forward. Carlos Rendon is expected to be charged again, according to the story.
Though neither have dental licenses, Rendon reportedly posed as a dentist, and his sister purportedly posed as an assistant. It is unclear how many patients reportedly received dental services from the siblings, but at least one woman was left with a gum infection and disfigurement after receiving 20 veneers. The woman claims the imposter dentist shaved her teeth down and left her with veneers so big that the look of them made her want to cry. Bedoya-Rendon is believed to have assisted in this woman’s procedure.
Rendon is a licensed cosmetologist, according to Florida Department of Health records.
A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
