If convicted, Dr. Kalili faces up to 50 years and Ventura faces up to seven years in state prison.

According to the department of insurance, Dr. Kalili, who operated the Beverly Hills Medical Suite, directed Ventura to submit fraudulent billing statements to four insurers for $339,799.99.
