Milestone Scientific reports 29% jump in 2009 revenues

For its 2009 fiscal year, Milestone Scientific reported revenues of $8.55 million, a 29% increase over revenues of $6.6 million for the previous fiscal year. For the year (end-December 31, 2009), net loss totaled $1.53 million, up from a net loss of $1.19 million a year ago.

Kansas Senate votes against fee capping

The Kansas House of Representatives on March 11 will take up a bill to prohibit insurance companies from capping fees on procedures they don't cover. The bill, which passed 40-0 in the Kansas Senate, is similar to legislation under consideration in Virginia and Iowa.

Economy dampens National Dentex's 2009 sales
