1-800-DENTIST parent company Futuredontics has partnered with virtual dental care company Denteractive to provide after-hours teledentistry care for patients.
Through the partnership, 1-800-DENTIST providers can refer patients with after-hours dental needs to Denteractive's teledentistry platform. The platform offers 24/7 care through live face-to-face video sessions or private text messaging services. It is also HIPAA-compliant, so dentists and patients can send secure messages and digital files.
Once a Denteractive provider has assessed and diagnosed a patient, 1-800-DENTIST referral specialists will match each patient to a dentist in his or her location for follow-up care. In addition, Denteractive will refer patients they care for to 1-800-DENTIST to find the right dentist for their long-term care needs.
