Tooth fairy pillows bring aid to West Africa

A Washington woman has developed a line of tooth fairy pillows that she hopes can make a difference in the lives of African children.

Elisa Hope has launched Sorrisi Décor, a Kent-based business that offers tooth fairy pillows with a twist: A portion of the profits will benefit children in need of crisis dental care in West Africa.

While developing her business idea, Hope contacted Medical Teams International, which told her the greatest need for crisis dental care is in Liberia and Mali, West Africa. She is now working with the organization to ensure that portions of her proceeds go to help children in those countries.

The pillows retail for $49.99 plus tax, and are available online at the company's Web site.
