Children's oral health group awards $109K in grants

National Children's Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) recently awarded grants totaling $109,050 to eight nonprofit community, university, and hospital-based dental programs in the U.S.

The award recipients are:

  • Catholic Healthcare West, Chandler, AZ, $15,000
  • Community Oral Health Services, Salinas, CA, $15,000
  • Sonrisas Community Dental Center, Half Moon Bay, CA, $9,050
  • The Children's Dental Center, Inglewood, CA, $15,000
  • The Gary Center, La Habra, CA, $10,000
  • Indiana University School of Dentistry, Indianapolis, $15,000
  • Community Dentistry on Wheels, Largo, MD, $15,000
  • A Fluoride Connection Non Profit Corporation, Madison, WI, $15,000

Grant recipients are members of the NCOHF affiliate network, which delivers comprehensive oral health preventive, restorative, and educational programs to children from vulnerable populations. The NCOHF network has reached more than 1 million children since 2006, according to the organization.
