3Shape’s Trios 6 intraoral scanner won the 2025 European Product Design Award (EPDA) in the Industrial/Healthcare Medical Products category, 3Shape announced.
Launched in 2025, the Trios 6 features hyperspectral technology designed to capture white, fluorescent, and near-infrared light at the same time. Trios 6 also powers 3Shape’s Dx Plus software, which is designed to help dentists detect oral health conditions and share clear 3D visuals with patients in the operatory or through the DentalHealth app, according to 3Shape.
